Dulcinea
This rectangular stole is worked circularly, from the center out, around a “tab” worked back and forth.
The pattern is both in chart and text format with line by line instructions.

Chacona wrote that this design makes her think of Spain, Don Quixote and Dulcinea . The more I looked at this design, the more it said “Dulcinea” . :-)

This design has been test knitted with cobweb weight - lace weight and light fingering by :
Ninon39 who knit it with 1443.6yd – 1320m of merino/acrylic (1334.2 yd – 1220 m on 3.53 oz - 100 g) and needles size 3.5mm /US 4. Measurements: 26” x 74.5”
LindaLovesLace who knit it with 1350 yd – 1234.44m of 2/14Nm alpaca/silk (768.9 yd – 703.1 m on 3.53 oz - 100 g) and needles size 3.25mm /US 3. Measurements: 32” x 84”
Seaglass who knit it with 1200 yd – 1097.3m of light fingering weight wool (493.4yd – 451.16m on 3.53oz - 100 g ) and needles size 3.25mm/US 3. Measurements : 24” x 80”
Jossroll who knit it with 1029 yd – 941 m of laceweight merino (950 yd - 869 m on 4.02 oz - 114 g ) and needles size 3.00mm /US 2 ½ . Measurements : 20” x 66”
My sample, on first picture, has been knitted with 1105yd / 1010m of Studio June Cash Paca Lace, needles size 3.00mm / US size 2 1/2 and it measures 26.37” x 68.11” .
