These top-down socks incorporate simple lace, gorgeous faux cables, and a reinforced heel to create a pretty and fun tribute to some of my favorite Harry Potter characters.

The members of Dumbledore’s Army were gems waiting to be shaped and polished, like the lace diamonds running down the front of these socks.

The students’ lives were woven together to create the fabric of the future of the wizarding world, like the faux cables linked together like chain mail down either side.

The students succeeded best when they supported and reinforced each other. This heel’s slipped stitches wrap around the heel, and gusset decreases close the reinforced section on the bottom of the foot. This heel technique creates a beautiful finish and fantastic fit!

This pattern includes both charts and written instructions, as well as video tutorial support. This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.

This pattern is accessible to an adventurous beginner and beyond.

Includes Video Resources for tutorials on casting on, binding off, and how to knit the special techniques.
