Dumbo the Octopus is a great cuddly friend just for anyone! He is a unique creature who lives in the deep sea and has adorable ears that gave him his name! Octopi are also supposedly good for small babies – and this design is durable and has no plastic parts so that he would make an amazing baby shower gift!

When made with size 4 yarn, the head/body is about 8” (20 cm) tall.

Materials:
1) Worsted yarn in main body color (yellow or white)
2) Worsted yarn in secondary hoof/horn tip/spot color (brown or black) – small amount
3) 3.5 mm (USE4) hook for main toy
4) Polyfiber filling for the toy
5) Blunt tapestry needle
6) Worsted yarn (small amount) in black (for eye iris)
7) Worsted yarn (small amount) in eye color (for eye)
** here used green, but could be light blue, white, etc
