This pattern is for an earflap hat in sizes 6-12 months up to adult, with an adorable dump truck applique.
The applique measures about 4” wide, and 3.5” tall. It is made in multiple pieces, and sewn together on the hat.
You will need less than a skein of your main colour, and only need small amounts of yarn for the applique. My patterns are designed using Loops and Threads ‘Impeccable’ yarn, which is a thicker worsted weight yarn. If you use something thinner, like Red Heart Soft or Caron Simply Soft, you may have to go up a hook size to achieve gauge.
