I designed this pattern after our last Polar Vortex winter. Between the hood and the yoke and the cowl, you will never get cold across your neck or shoulders. And to complete the look, I added a celtic design around the bottom. But it’s not mine any longer. As soon as my son saw it, he asked for it. I gave it to him in return for modeling it.

The pattern requires two-needle cast-on, short rows, double-stranded knitting, both increases and decreases, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner knitter. There are links throughout the pattern to online videos which demonstrate most of the techniques. I have included my e-mail in the pattern so you can contact me for help or clarification.
