Dunes and Sea is a crochet pattern for a pillow case. The front is made of 16 two-coloured squares and the back is just rows of half double/half treble crochet. It closes with three buttons.

Each square measures around 12x12cm/4.7x4.7in. I have used the following quantities of yarn:

Scheepjes Spirit 302 Wolf: 500m/547yds
Scheepjes Spirit 304 Lion: 273m/298yds
Scheepjes Spirit 309 Dolphion: 269m/294yds

Bear in mind that these quantities may change depending on your gauge and/or if you use a different yarn/hook.

I have used extended stitches and post stitches in order to give it a nice wavy texture that reminds us of the sand and the sea. It also makes the pattern a bit more interesting and challenging to make.

Due to the fact that the squares have two colours, that will allow you to arrange them in different ways and create different geometric patterns personalising your work.
