Dunstan Sweater
This is a simple top-down raglan jumper, with an oversized fit and balloon sleeves.
Holding two strands of yarn together gives you a chunky knit with endless colour possibilities.
Specs
Gauge:
14.5 stitches x 19 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches measured over stockinette stitch worked
in the round on the main fabric needle (recommended 7mm needles) once blocked
Adjust needle size as necessary to match gauge.
Techniques used in this sweater:
• Long tail cast on
• Cast off
• Stockinette stitch (in the round and flat)
• Decreases
• German short rows
• M1L and M1Lp; M1R and M1Rp
• Pick up stitches
Recommended needles:
• 7mm circular needles (or size required to obtain gauge)
• 5.5mm circular needles (or needles 1.5mm smaller that the main needles)
You will need:
• Sandnes Garn Merinoull (105m/114 yds per 50g) and Sandnes Garn Sunday
(235m/257y per 50g)
• 9 stitch markers total, 1 unique marker for the beginning of the round, and 8
markers for the raglan sections (2 for each Raglan section).
• A tapestry needle for weaving in ends
• A stitch holder or waste yarn for placing sleeve stitches on hold.

• B: 8 balls Merinoull and 4 balls Sunday
• C: 9 balls Merinoull and 4 balls Sunday

Fit
This is designed to be worn with approx. 19cm (±2cm)/7.5 inches (±1 inch) of positive ease, so the circumference of the finished garment will be approximately 19cm/4inches larger than your body measurement as chosen from the sizes list
