These mittens are warm, cosy and simple to knit. You can play with colours and really make them your own. Make a pair for every coat!

To fit a hand circumference of approx. 6.5 (8, 10)“ / 16.5 (20.5, 25.5) cm.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Circumference: 6.75 (8.5, 10.25)“ / 17 (21.5, 25.5) cm.
Height (with folded cuff): Approx. 9.25 (9.75, 10)“ / 23.5 (24.5, 25.5) cm.
MATERIALS
Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Cardo (100% Corriedale wool, 109 yds / 100 m – 100 g).
C1: 1 skein, colourway North Sea.
C2: 1 skein, colourway Goldenrod.
If you decide to use another yarn, you will need approx. 60 (75, 91) yds / 55 (69, 83) m of bulky-weight yarn in each colour.
Needles: US 8 / 5 mm DPNs or circular needles suitable for knitting small circumferences in the rnd (16” / 40 cm needles or 32” / 80 cm needles, if using the Magic-Loop Method).
Notions: Stitch holder or scrap yarn, stitch markers.
GAUGE
14 sts x 22 rnds to 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, after blocking.
CONSTRUCTION
These mittens are worked from the bottom up in the round. You first work a long rib, which is intended to be worn folded, and then start working the hand in Stockinette Stitch. After separating the thumb stitches, you will change colours and continue in Stockinette Stitch. The decreases for the tip are made on both sides of the mitten.
