DUO SONO Beanie & Cowl are both worked bottom up.

The Beanie is knitted with a rib followed by the pattern from the chart and then stockinette stitch. You need to change to double pointed needles when you decrease the stitches for the top of the beanie.
The cowl Is knitted with circular needles and starts with a rib and then you repeat the pattern from the chart.

Size: One size (You can easily increase the size)

Beanie Circumference at the rib aproxx 42 cm (16.5 inches)
Circumference at stockinette stitch aproxx 46 cm (18.1 inches)
Length 23 cm (9.1 inches)

Cowl Circumference 54 cm (21.3 inches)
Length 20 cm (7.9 inches)

Gauge Beanie: 19 sts x 28 rnds on circular needles 4 mm
(US6) stockinette stitch = 10 cm (4 x 4 inches)

Gauge Cowl: 20 sts x 24 rnds circular needles 4,5 mm (US7) pattern knit = 10 cm (4 x 4 inches)

Needles: Circular needles 3,5 (US4), 4 mm (US6), 4,5 mm (US7) 40 cm (16 inches) and double pointed needles 4 mm (US6)

100 g = 180 m (196 yds)
MC, Arctic Fox 59001

The yarn is sold in skeins 100g
The real weight of the Beanie and Cowl together is 120 gr.
Any other wool yarn 180 m (196 yds) - 200 m (218 yds) will be OK.
