Squares get smaller as they progress from the centre out in this granny square blanket with a distinctive twist. In DK weight yarn, it is sized for a baby or small child, but a larger blanket can be made with thicker yarn weights.

Worsted/Aran weight: 50” square

Yarn and hook
You may use any DK, worsted or aran-weight yarn. I recommend a 4.0mm (US G) hook with DK, a 5.0 mm (US H) for worsted, and a 6.0 mm (US J) for aran-weight.
