Dùrachd meaning Good Wishes in Scottish Gaelic is an intermediate level scarf which contains a beautiful and delicate mixture of lacy chevrons and wishbone cables.
It has been designed to be a modular pattern and along with its sister scarf - Sìth - can be adjusted to your liking by adding or subtracting cables and chevrons and completing as many pattern repeats as you wish.
As it is a rectangular scarf gauge isn’t too much of an issue and although the sample given was worked up in two skeins of Sealy MacWheely Tuesdays and Also July you can easily extend the pattern with a second skein for a longer scarf.
This pattern has been designed specially for Sealy MacWheely by Glesga Yarntie, Audrey
