The DUSK FOG COWL is a special collaboration with HOUNDSTOOTH FIBER ARTS as part of The Sun and Fog, a collection of patterns from Bay Area designers and yarn dyers. This collection celebrates the unique landscape of northern California and the concept of collaboration over competition.
The cowl begins as a traditional, top-down triangle shawl with increases along both edges and on both sides of a center spine. Later, it is joined to work in the round, creating a cowl shape with a center front point. The increases at the center spine are maintained throughout. The cowl features a plethora of textures, using eyelets, twisted stitches and mini bobbles to create visual interest and an engaging knitting experience.
