Dusk in the Desert Shawl
This pattern includes a second PDF version that is formatted for knitters with low vision. It has black text, size 22 or larger text in a sans serif font, no italics, no columns, and fully-written directions. Many thanks to Gemma Thompson (gemmabelle here on Rav) for her guidance in formatting patterns in a more accessible way.
As the sun sets in the desert, temperatures drop quickly, and the sky fills with brilliant color. It can be helpful to have a shawl to bundle up in. This shawl is a crescent-shaped shawl with a simple, soothing stitch pattern that is perfect for summer vacation knitting.
This shawl was originally designed for sport-weight yarn and larger needles. It has now been updated for finer yarn and smaller needles, and it includes additional instructions and features that were not previously available.
