Dusk to Dawn Shawl
Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.
A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!
- No Code – Full Price = $10.00 CAD
- PK10 – 10% off = $9.00 CAD
- PK20 – 20% off = $8.00 CAD
- PK30 – 30% off = $7.00 CAD
I also offer a Buy 3, Get 1 Free discount! Add any 4 of my patterns to your cart, and use the code BUY3GET1 to get the 4th pattern free! Note: the free pattern will be the lowest priced pattern.
Please note: This pattern is a part of an exclusive advent calendar. Use the coupon you received as a part of the Treehouse Knits Advent Calendar to receive this pattern for free.
This shawl was designed specifically for, and using the yarn from Treehouse Knits Dusk to Dawn yarn advent (however you are welcome to use another yarn advent or any minis/leftover yarn you have already!). This shawl is designed with 25 different colour/texture sections, one for each mini skein. The pattern will specify which day’s yarn to use in regards to the advent, but if you are using other yarn just decide on your own order for the colour sections!
You could also do the shawl in one solid colour, or use a few different full size skeins and alternate through them for more of a stripey look! Basically, the colours and order don’t matter much, you can customize that easily while following the stitch patterns for the lovely textures!
There is an I-cord/triple selvage edging throughout the whole shawl. If you don’t want to do the I-cord edge, you can do a normal cast on and bind off, and do a 3 stitch garter edging in place of the I-cord edge.
Each section will always end on a RS row, and the first row of the next colour will be a set up row of all knit stitches on the WS to show the colour change with the purl bumps on the RS
