This asymmetrical triangle is worked flat starting at the left corner with increases at the beginning of every right side row. For a clean edge, the first stitch is slipped at the beginning of every row.

The simple twisted stitch creates a unique fabric with the illusion of desert twisters or “dust devils”.

The tassels are optional but if you choose to make them, save about 44 yd / 40 m of yarn. This is included in the total yardage of the pattern.

Dust Devil is worked in two sections which makes it easy to adjust the size. Even the weight of yarn can be substituted, which will customize the shawl.
