The Duvet Day socks are knit in the round from cuff to toe, with a shadow wrap short row heel.

The perfect companion for both knitting and wearing on a duvet day.

Sizes
Instructions are provided for 3 sizes, S, M and L with a foot circumference of 15cm/6”, 18cm/7”and 20cm/8”. A negative ease of 2.5cm/1 inch around the widest part of your foot is recommended. The leg length is 17cm/6.5” from the cuff to the start of the heel.

Gauge
36 stitches and 48 rows = 10cm/4” in stocking stitch

Yarn
100g of 4ply/ fingering weight yarn.

Recommended needles
2.5mm (US size 1.5) or size needed to obtain gauge set of double pointed needles, or circular needle suitable to work small circumferences in the round.

Experience
Skill Level: Easy/Adventurous beginner
Can read a knitting pattern and understand general knitting abbreviations.
Cast on, knit, purl, basic knit decreases, grafting (for the toe section), and knitting in the round.
Written instructions to complete a shadow wrap heel are provided.
