This square was inspired by the lace pattern on a rather flouncy duvet cover. It was originally intended to be worked in a single colour, although the leafy design will lend itself to all manner of colour arrangements. However, the central motif is worked in such a way that the effect of the flowers and sprigs will be lost if the colours are changed too often.
The design is achieved by several variations on conventional and chainless clusters.
There are only 12 rounds and the square is a very quick one to make up. Ideal for a duvet day!
