Braided bands and cabled corners echo the stylings of dwarven beards. A durable but beautifully crafted bag to keep your dice secure.

Knit top down, this bag will hold just over two sets of dice or 11 mini dice sets! This bag is great if you own a couple sets of dice that you want to keep safe OR if you have a million dice sets and want to sort them out into colour coded bags.

For this pattern you will need:

  • Worsted weight wool approx 25m of main colour and a small amount of two contrast colours. Sample used Knit Picks yarns, Provincial Tweed in Black, Preciosa in Butternut, and Wool of the Andes Worsted in Dove.
  • Set of 4mm double pointed needles
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch marker (you can find suitably themed d20 dice set ones in my etsy shop I Cast Mending)
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

The gauge of this pattern is flexible which means you can technically knit this in any yarn weight! You just ensure your stitches are compact enough to not let dice poke through. Heavier yarns should result in bigger bags and lighter yarns will result in smaller bags.
