The Dyadic Pullover manages to both be asymmetrical and have the same design on the front and back: On one shoulder, the lace and cable pattern ends at a point, while on the other side, the pattern continues from the shoulder to the hem. The front and back are worked back and forth from the top down to the underarm. The lower body is then worked in the round using increases to create a gentle A-line silhouette.

Yarn Jagger Spun Zephyr Worsted 4/ 8 (50% Merino wool, 50% tussah silk; 248 yd 227 m/31/2 oz 100 g): #0410 Indigo, 6 (7, 8, 8, 9, 10) skeins.

Needles Size 3 (3.25 mm): 16” and 32” circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• This pullover is worked from the top down. The back is worked separately back and forth to the underarm, and the stitches are placed on a holder. Stitches for the front are picked up along the back shoulders and worked to the underarm. The two pieces are then joined and worked in the round to the lower edge. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeves are worked from the top down in the round with short-rows to shape the sleeve cap.
