This pattern is designed to use 2 skeins of Willamette Imperial Yarn. You will have four bowls that should nest together after felting. Making the bowls larger or altering the pattern may require more yarn. I’ve used natural yarn so it can be hand-dyed, but most colorways of 100% wool will felt nicely.

I used US #10-11 16” circular needles and switch to #10-11” DPN when stitches no longer fit on circular needles (or use 40” circular. The bowls will be floppy and loose after knitting, but will felt into shape.

After knitting all bowls, I felt bowls by agitating in the washer, checking every 10-15 mins (do not allow to go to spin cycle). I then form the bowls into the desired shape by stretching over a bowl or curved surface.
