Dyyni is worked seamlessly from the bottom up. The front has cables and the back is made up of two types of ribbing. The front and back are divided at armholes and shaped separately, then joined at the shoulders using 3-Needle Bind-Off. The sts for the ribbed sleeves are picked up from the armholes and are worked in the round. The neck has a funnel neck for a relaxed finish.

Yarn: 9 (9, 10, 11, 11) (12, 13, 14) balls of Brusca by Rosa Pomar (100% wool, 137 yds / 125 m – 50 g), colourway A. Or approx. 1180 (1220, 1320, 1425, 1510) (1590, 1670, 1840) yds / 1075 (1115, 1200, 1300, 1375) (1450, 1550, 1675) m of DK / light worsted weight yarn.

Needles: US 5 / 3.75 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (for neck), US 6 / 4 mm 16” / 40 cm (for neck) and 32” / 80 cm circular needles (for bottom hem and neck), US 7 / 4.5 mm 40” / 100 cm circular needles (for body and sleeves), one extra US 7 / 4.5 mm needle for 3-Needle Bind-Off.

Notions: Cable needle, stitch markers, stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
18 sts x 26 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in St St, after blocking.

22.5 sts x 29 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in cabled patt, after blocking.

24 sts x 28 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles in 1 x 1 Rib with p1tbl patt, after blocking.

Dyyniは裾から輪で編むセーターです. 前身頃はケーブル編み, 後ろ身頃は3x1のリブ編み, 両脇には1x1のリブ編みを用い, いずれのリブ編みも表編みとねじり裏編みで編み進めます. 袖はアームホールから目を拾い, 1x1のリブ編み (ねじり裏編み使用) で袖口まで輪で編みます. 襟ぐりはファネルネックの形状で, ゆったりと着用できます. ネックは編みたては立ち上がっていますが, 何度か着るうちに身体に馴染み, 程よく首に沿うようになります. ドロップスリーブとケーブル以外の全体に渡るリブ編みによってリラックスした着心地にデザインされています.
