I recently switched to vaping an electronic cigarette and wanted some kind of holder so that I could wear it around my neck. I see them all over the internet, but they cost more than I wanted to spend, so I designed my own!

This design is basically a long cord attached to a rectangle that is folded in half and seamed. I used single crochet to seam, but if you don’t crochet, you could easily use a 3-needle bind off to achieve the same look. The elastic yarn gives it a nice snug fit.

I am a very slow knitter, but this only takes me about an hour and half or so to make, AND I have made 4 of them with only one ball of the Cascade Fixation with plenty of yarn left over for a couple more.

My next step is to design some with beads and a mesh patter so stay tuned!
