ABOUT THE PATTERN
Finished size: if made with a D (3.25mm) hook & worsted weight yarn, the doll stands roughly 10.5 inches (27cm) tall.
Procedure: This doll is crocheted from the feet up, with arms, ears, hair, and jacket created separately. All rounds are continuous spirals unless otherwise indicated.
Gauge: tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through.
Skill level: CYC Easy for the doll, CYC Intermediate for the optional jacket.
Before you begin: please read through the entire pattern and look up anything you’re unsure of. You can find tutorials for every stitch and technique via Google or YouTube.

MR = magic ring
ch = chain
st = stitch
slst = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = invisible single crochet increase
dec = invisible single crochet decrease
hdc-inc = 2 half-double crochets in the same st
hdc2tog = half-double 2 sts together
dc-inc = 2 double crochets in the same st
dc2tog = double crochet 2 sts together
BLO = back loop only
FLO = front loop only
