Initially conceived as a complement to the Ealhswith Mittens (published separately), the matching hat nevertheless has a life of its own, with the sinuous cable panel worked sideways as an elegant band treatment. Finished off with stylized Celtic buttons, the hat is well worthy of your next adventure.

Yarn: Peace Fleece DK (75% Navajo Ramboulliet and Domestic Wool/25% Texas Mohair, 4 oz/350 yd), 1 skein

Needles: US 6 (4mm) 16” circular needle and set of 5 dpns
US 2 (2.75 mm) straight needles
