Ear Coozy Cloche
by Dale Clark
This cloche contains an attached “headband” with shaping for the ears that I call an ear coozy. The cloche is just long enough to keep rain and snow off of glasses; although, it can be made longer by adding more rows at the end.
130-150 yards of bulky (WPI 7) is needed for the cloche (I used 1 and about 1/3 skeins of Patons Classic Wool Bulky). 50 yards of worsted is needed for the ear coozy.
This pattern works up fairly quickly; I can make one in one day. I use a contrast from the cloche for the ear coozy then make gloves in the same yarn as the ear coozy.
