I needed something to keep my ear muffs clean, so I decided to make ear muff covers that I could use to change the color of the ear muffs. I wanted both crocheters and knitters to be able to do it so this pattern is sold with BOTH the crochet version and knit version included! The knit pattern is less bulky and more comfortable and so I recommend that version, but both work. They also work up very quickly.

This pattern works for both the men and women’s sized wrap around ear muffs. 180 Degree is the brand shown in the images.

The knit version requires about 45 yards of yarn instead of the 67 the crochet version needs. Knit guage: 8 x 4.5 st in one inch (in 2.5 cm)

• 1 Skein Caron Simply Soft Yarn (or soft worsted weight yarn)
• Tapestry Needle
• Crochet Pattern Only: US Size F Hook 3.75 MM
• Knit Pattern Only: US Size 8 5.00 MM Double Pointed Needles
• Scissors
