Ear Saver with kam snaps
I created this pattern as I wanted to make some ear savers to donate to local healthcare workers, however having no buttons available I could only use what I had at home, which was a box full of Kam snaps!
This pattern is worked entirely in the round from a starting chain and is complete in just 4 rows. It has no set gauge, however I do give the sizes that mine worked up to.
This pattern is adaptable for the length you need by adding to or subtracting from the starting chain if you want, but adding extra snaps to the ear saver makes it adjustable in size too!
I have used Scheepjes River washed and Stone washed mini skeins for this project as I wanted thin yarn so that the snaps would easily join, thicker yarn would prevent the snaps from having a secure bond.
I have managed to get three ear savers from one mini skein.
This is a written pattern only, there is no photographic step by step. However if you are having any issues whatsoever please don’t hesitate to contact me.
