When you find yourself in harmony with your element, it becomes quite a magical (though possibly startling) moment.
Wanting to capture such a moment in my home served as inspiration for the design.
The Elemental cans is a series of four dainty little covers featuring textured stitches.
Be entranced by the meditative nature of the textured stitch, repetitive but never boring (and quick to knit up). And feel the softness of the yarn run through your fingers, light as air, fluid as water, strong like earth and like fire.
The four patterns have been designed to complement one another as a set or to shine as stand-alone pieces.

The Earth can cover is knitted in the round from bottom up. The base is worked in a Garter Stitch pattern.
Stitches are then picked up along each side and the can is worked in the alternating smooth ridge stitch pattern, for textural and visual
interest.
