Here is a pattern to make a crochet iPad case with the emblem of the Earth Nation in Avatar the Last Airbender. It is made using tapestry crochet technique while reading a graph.

I used 1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Coffee and 1 skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Frosty Green. I had these left over from a previous project. You will not use the entirety of either skein.

Gauge is important in this piece. I created it on scaled graph paper, where every 4 boxes was 1 inch. Measured out correctly, 4 single crochet stitches with the size G hook, should measure 1 inch. This ensures that the finished project will be approximately 9.5in X 7.33in.
