Earthseed pullover was inspired by two things, my Hypnotic Eye shawl and by Octavia E Butler’s book series Parable of the Sower. I read Butler’s book in sociology of religion class and on the class syllabus I first designed this pullover. Lauren’s new and intimate relationship with God, the state of the world, and desire to live and fight were all things that spoke to me tremendously.

You beginning this pullover from the yoke and seamlessly attached the rest of the pullover using my joining dc technique. Video tutorials and written instructions are included in this digital pattern.
