This Earthy Luminary is such a versatile pattern with dozens of uses! This crochet jar cover will fit pint and quart sized Ball canning jars. You could fill it with q-tips in your bathroom, silverware in your kitchen or at your cookout, your crochet hooks, a citronella candle to keep those pesky mosquitoes at bay, or just a standard candle or battery powered candle to create the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

This pattern uses only single crochets and double crochets and works up in less than an hour! Any medium or worsted weight yarn will work.

You have the option to make either the pint-sized jar cover or the quart-sized jar cover and there are also instructions for the 10” hanger. Change up the colors, hot glue some pretty ribbon around the jar opening or even add a tassel to the bottom of the hanging luminary. (Instructions for a tassel not included.) Customize your luminaries to make them your own!
