East Coast Cowl
Named for the beautiful East Coast of Canada, where I now call home.
A super simple knit cowl, bandana style, using any yarn - Fingering or DK weight, even Bulky and depending on how squishy you want it. Extra points for an all-knit pattern – no purling, no seaming required.
Working down and starting at the neck with only 3 stitches you knit back and forth before joining in the round for the last half of the pattern – the first stitch of each row is slipped to give a clean neck edge. The finishing border is split, knit back and forth finished with an easy stretchy bind off.
