With our damp and cold air here in the Pacific Northwest, warm cowls come in really handy! I tested this one out during a windstorm and it performed with flying colors. The child size took me less than an hour from start to finish so this cowl will be a good gifting or market item as well. Customize to your heart’s content - get the height and fit you want from the repeating HHDC stitch pattern. For yarn choice, I LOVE Hue + Me. It’s super soft and you can machine wash/dry! Enjoy your making adventures!

Yarn Note: One of my testers used Brava Bulky, which is designated a Bulky (5) weight yarn. Following the adult size pattern (and using an L hook), her cowl measured at the child size dimensions. Other testers commented that they believe Brava Bulky may not be a true 5-weight yarn as well, so keep in mind that you may need to adjust your hook size and counts with this specific yarn.
