Easter animals - a bunny, a lamb and a chick - can be a lovely decoration or cute toys. They are quick to make, however, there are a few advanced stitches in the pattern which could be difficult for a beginner. An adventurous crocheter will be able to handle them though.

The sizes are given for the Drops Paris yarn, but if you use a thicker blanket or chenille yarn, your toys will be a lot bigger (I’ve tried one with Himalaya Dolphin and it was about 20cm/8” tall).

One skein of each colour will be enough. You will also need safety eyes, scissors and a needle.
