This pattern is for an overlay mosaic crochet square that features an Easter Basket with little pink bunnies! It forms a square that can be used in other types of projects, such as blankets, pillows, satchel bags, table mats, etc.

Any yarn or hook will work, depending on the desired size of the finished square. I used yarn weight of 4 with a 5.5 hook, which creates a square of 13.5” x 13”.

This project uses 4 colors of yarn - if using medium weight #4 yarn, you will need approximately 1.5 oz of your background color, 2 oz of main basket color (gold), 1 oz of the darker basket color (brown), and 1 oz of the bunny color (pink). You could do the basket all in the same color for a more textural look if desired. The total weight of this square is just under 4 oz, which comes to around 200 yards of medium weight yarn.
