This listing is for the Easter Basket with Applique pattern.
The pattern is written in U.S. terms. Using a 4mm hook & 2strands of double knit yarn it will be approx 25cm high including handle and 15cm wide. circumference of basket is approx 49cm

I use stylecraft special double knit for most of my applique patterns but any double knit yarn is suitable. Gauge is not important
