How about a few different graphic t-shirts for your crochet doll to wear? This pattern includes a darling bunny rabbit image, and lots of cosumization options (add squinty eyes, or a bow-tie), as well as the pattern to make shorts/pants. Any worsted weight yarn will work, I just prefer using Caron Simply Soft, I have also used Bernat Baby, Red Heart Super Saver, and other types of yarn without any difficulty.

Pattern is very easy to read, with lots of pictures and instructions as well as directions of how to complete every stitch required (if you don’t already know them). Perfect for beginners!
