I made this doily for Easter. The pattern resembles feathers, since decorating birch twigs with colored feathers is an old Swedish Easter tradition. Of course the doily is suitable for any occasion depending on your color choice.

This design is easy to make and is suitable also for beginners. You’ll need one ball (50 grams) of fingering weight yarn which will leave some leftovers. Fully written pattern.
