This is a knitted Mother Chicken & her Chicks, that is designed to cover a chocolate Creme Egg & mini foil covered eggs. Once the chocolate is all gone, the Chicken & chicks can be used as a decorative item.

The Mother Chicken measures approx. 7.5cms.
The Lambs measure approx. 3cms.

The pattern includes instructions on how to make the chickens with a list of abbreviations. The pattern is written in English & can be printed onto 1 piece of paper (front & back).

All pieces are knitted flat on a pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5).

The pattern uses DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 25g in each colour.
