Crochet pattern “Easter chicken in egg” (ENGLISH)

This tutorial contains a detailed pattern of crochet chicken and egg with buttons.
When using similar materials, the height of the chicken is 4” and the height of the egg is 5”
My toy is crocheted of “Himalaya Dolphin Baby” plush yarn (velvet yarn)
You can crochet a toy from any yarn, only you will need to choose the size of eyes, legs and hook.

The pattern does not contain basic course of crocheting – you should already have the basic knowledge!

You need:

• plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or analogues (100% polyester, 100g/120 mt or 3,53 oz/131 yrds):
• yellow color - about 1/5 of the skein;
• white color - about 1/4 of the skein;
• red color (for cock comb only);
• fine orange yarn for the beak – 50 g/300 mt or 1.76 oz/328 yrds
• 4 mm hook / US size F and 1 mm hook/US Size 12 for the beak ;
• 9 mm safety eyes;
• 2 orange chenille sticks - length 30cm, diameter of about 0.6 cm;
• 3 white buttons with a diameter of 15 mm or 2/3” and white sewing thread;
• fiberfiller;
• scissors;
• stitch markers;
• a sewing needle and needle for yarn (with a blunt end and large eye).
