This bunny is completely crocheted with no sewing needed!


You can use any yarn weight or type to make your bunny. Use a smaller than recommended hook size to keep your stitches tight.

I have used Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky acrylic yarn with a 5mm hook for my main bunnies measuring approx. 9”/23cm tall.

For my extra large bunny measuring approx. 13”/33cm tall, I have used Hayfield Bonus Super Chunky with an 8mm hook.

You can choose your favourite chocolate type for your chocolate bunny colour, here’s the shades of yarn I have used:

Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky -
Champagne (302) for White Chocolate,
Soft Fudge (309) for Milk Chocolate,
Coffee Bean (310) for Dark Chocolate.

Hayfield Bonus Super Chunky -
Cocoa (575) for Extra Dark Chocolate.

Gauge:
Exact gauge is not too important. Just ensure you keep your stitches tight by using a hook size at least 1 size smaller than recommended on your yarn label.

You will need:
Your chosen yarn - (up to approx. 100yds depending on yarn/hook size)
Crochet hook at least 1 full size smaller than recommended for your chosen yarn,
Toy stuffing (polyester fibrefill),
Stitch markers,
Yarn needle,
Scissors.
