Easter chocolate covers
These are digital knitting patterns. They are chocolate orange covers for a hot cross bun and an easter egg. They are knitted in the flat using a pair of 3.25mm needles and dk wool. Easy beginner patterns. One size fits a chocolate orange. You can use any dk wool for this project. I’ve used, Style craft special dk, Rowan wool, King Cole Glitz and James C Brett Super value and a small amount of pink dk wool. For the I cords on the hot cross bun I’ve used a pair of 2mm double pointed needles. For the currants, raisins and peel effect I’ve used French Knots. The bow on the easter egg is also knitted using 2mm needles.
