This Easter, I wanted a quick, meaningful project to crochet. I love to read, and currently have a pile of books from the library to get through while we’re on lockdown, so I thought a bookmark would be ideal. I’m not going to lie, this bookmark took me a few attempts to get right because I was basically winging it. I almost gave up, but it was obviously meant to be because I managed it in the end, and I absolutely love my new bookmark!

In this tutorial, I am not going to teach you how to do the corner to corner stitch. There are plenty of amazing tutorials already out there for that, but I am going to show you how to use the different colours to achieve a cross pattern in the middle of your bookmark.
