The pattern offers two options for this knitted square. The first produces a cross in stockinette stitch with a seed stitch background. The second version substitutes garter stitch for the seed stitch background. Instructions for seed stitch are included.

This pattern can be made in any worsted weight yarn, but needle size may need to be increased for finer worsteds, such as Caron Simply Soft.
