This cushion cover is decorated with the word Easter, our example here worked in fresh Spring colours, and adorned with floral embellishments.

Worked in stocking stitch the cover requires 2 x 100 gm balls in the main colour and 1 x 50 gm in the contrast. It is knitted in one piece starting with a small band of rib, stocking stitch for the main section, and finishing with another band of rib.

The letters are knitted separately using stocking stitch - with step by step instructions given for each one in the pattern leaflet - and decorated with flowers embroidered in detached chain stitch.

To make up the side seams are joined together.
