Welcome Easter with these little knitted treats. Add them to keychains, backpacks, wreaths, or as hanging decorations. Each is quick to knit and would make a lovely gift. The pattern includes seven Easter characters to knit: Rabbit, Sheep, Bear, Pig, Chick, Bee and Carrot.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the hanging loops are single crochet chains.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Toy filling
Domed buttons for eyes
A 3.5mm crochet hook

SIZES
One size only - Animals are 10cm tall (excluding ears), the bee is 7cm long, and the carrot is 12cm long.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knit stripes, and seaming to finish.
