I designed this little bunny Fluff a few years ago and have knitted her in many different guises. This time she is organising the Easter Egg hunt and has dropped a pile. I’m not sure she has the idea yet, but, is very keen to try, look at those ears! There are no hard and fast rules with this pattern. Make a bigger tree, more branches, more / less catkins, more flowers, whatever you fancy, I won’t come round and give you marks out of 10 I
promise. Would look good in a Nursery, then you could explore Easter , why we give eggs etc. I don’t like knitting in the round – unless it is hats, and it seems I am not alone, so everything is knit flat. I purchased the little toy eyes from Amazon – they are 6mm, black beads or embroidery would work just as well.
Apart from 100g of green dk for the wreath covering, everything else is is in small amounts - 25g or less, so, a great stashbuster. I used aran for the tree, 4 ply for Fluff & everything else is DK, you will also need one pipecleaner. If you want to give Fluff as a gift, omit the animal eyes & pipe cleaner.
