No more dyeing eggs for Easter! Knit a lovely and colorful shell for Easter this year. You don´t even need to sew the shell. Simply tie a bow in order to remove it easily after Easter and store this ecofriendly deco for next year. You are the designer of the style: embroider everything you like and use your leftover yarns.

It is a very easy pattern, no problem if you are a newbie or an advanced knitter. The required skills you need are knit and purl. Everything else is explained in detail.

Here is what you need:
• Cotton yarn (DK or worsted – run length 130m/50g)
• Plastic eggs or real eggs – size approx. 3.5 in (9cm)
• Set of double-pointed needles size US:10/UK:4
• Sewing needle (without tip)

Or for the size of real chicken eggs:
• Same cotton yarn as above, maybe a little bit lighter
• Plastic eggs or real chicken eggs – size approx. 2.5 in (6.5 cm)
• Set of double-pointed needles size US:6/UK:8
