Crochet pattern. What better way to celebrate the coming of spring and Easter than decorating with these adorable and festive little crochet Easter eggs. Hang them from flowering branches or gift them to friends and family.

I wrote this pattern specifically for 6 cm / 2.4 inches styropor eggs and a lace weight yarn (Lammy Coton Crochet no 10 Multi). But if you replace the styropor egg with regular stuffing, you can use any yarn you like. The egg will still come out egg-shaped.

In order to make the eggs, you will need these stitches (I use US terminology!)

Magic circle
Single crochet
Triple crochet
Skip
Puff stitch
Increase
Decrease (I recommend using front-loops only to get your decreases as invisible as possible)
