The base is worked in puff stitches and the body of the bag is worked in hdcs. It uses about 2 1/2 balls of yarn. The puff stitches resemble Easter eggs and the color of self striping yarn used is very Easter-y. The height of the bag is about 8 1/2 inches, and the circumference of the base is about 23 inches. It tapers in size as it is worked up using hdcs, and the circumference of the top of the bag is about 18 inches. It closes with a drawstring chain (you could substitute a ribbon), and will hold plenty of goodies!
